Shoulder Pouches

Hand-sewed & finished

Leathersmithe pouches are saddle-stitched with 4 & 5 strand beeswaxed flax cord, back-stitched at the beginning and end for reinforcement.
Many have a welt seam which is a third narrow sewed-in strip of edge-burnished harness leather that cushions and protects the cord from abrasion.
All have replaceable deerskin fully-adjustable shoulder straps.

I use saddle soap, dubbin, & hand-burnishing to bring out the leather's grain.  Fine leathers age gracefully and don't require dyeing or edge dressing.
