Calf, goat & Hermann Oak cowhide wallets are saddle-stitched with 4 strand beeswaxed linen cord, back-stitched at the beginning and end for reinforcement. A light coat of tan carnauba wax is rubbed into the leather to bring out the grain. Fine leathers age & darken gracefully. Choose natural (undyed), tan, British tan, light or medium brown hand-rubbed finishes. 2, 3 & 4 compartments.
Keep your wallet looking youthful with regular applications of saddle soap & dubbin.

Durable calfskin & shoe leathers are saddle-stitched with waxed linen cord and finished with a light coat of carnauba wax, saddle soap, dubbin and beeswax.

The saddler's awl produces a diamond-shaped hole; waxed linen cord lays-into the holes in a unique configuration. The completed saddle stitch can't be confused with machine sewing.

Saddle-stitching begins and ends with a few back-stitches to add security and long life to the seam.
