Saddle-stitching begins and ends with a few back-stitches
to add security and long life to the seam.

Beginning the 2nd half saddle-stitch. The stitching is doubled for the first 3 or 4 stitches for added durability.

Saddle-stitching continues after
doubling-over at the beginning & end.

A wallet may require an hour to cut out & assemble
and another hour 1/2 to saddle-stitch.

Hand-finishing adds half an hour to the construction time.
